Murad Ali received training in music from his grandfather late Ustad Siddique Ahmed Khan Sahab and from his father renowned sarangi players Ustad Ghulam Sabir Khan Sahab from a very young age. He gave his 1st solo performance at the tender age of 10, and since then had performed extensively the world over, both as a soloist as well as an accompanist to eminent musicians. Murad Ali won the 1st prize at the All India Radio music competition in 1992. Acclaimed as one of the finest young sarangi player of today.
